Re: Gas mileage
so thats what the display says...I have not actually confirmed that I can drive the full distance to an mt tank....
and it is a little motor and I don't drive it so hard as to have the turbo kick in all the time....me thinks...
I have not modified this car in any way,

Re: Gas mileage
I've got a 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro and I get between 550-600kms a tank. That about 80% highway, bc highway though, when I drove through alberta and sask I'd get 650 or better

Re: Gas mileage
I have a 2003 1.8T A4 and I get about 600km normally. I'm drive into the city so it's about 50%/50% HW/City driving hours. Car is stock at this point.
Is there a way to change the display from KM's left in the tank to a mileage reading?

Re: Gas mileage
after looking at this more closely last weekend going to the cottage 90 km/hour...used 45 litres to travel about 450 km....so uh 10L per 100 kms....so the instruments are way wrong...full tank should not yeild 850 plus kms...so a 60 L tank would yeild about 600 plus klicks...seems in line with what the others are saying.

Re: Gas mileage
DO this and it should be more accurate
Throttle Body Alignment:
put the key and put it into the position just before the starter turns (do not start the car) push the gas peddle all the way wait 3 seconds and turn the key all the way back but do not take it out, now release the gas peddle and wait 2 minutes! remove key than put it back in and start the car! you should notice a better response while pressing the gas do this once every few weeks!
