Gas gauge - fuel sending unit
Argh, so I just went in to get my fuel pump replaced, and thought I'd get my fuel sending unit changed too, since I've had problems with my fuel gauge going wonky. And now my fuel gauge is wonky in a different way.
Before, after my tank gets past half tank, the fuel gauge would then start bouncing up and down from empty to half tank. After I got the new fuel sending unit put in, it doesn't bounce at all anymore, but when I fill up my tank to full, the gauge doesn't show full. The max it shows is 3/4 tank and it's stuck there, even though I just filled the tank.
Anyone got ideas as to what is causing this?

I am also interested in this topic, ever since i bought my car with 80,000kms it always says full. Once starting the car and intermittedly every once in a while it will read correctly, but then it jumps back to full. And then once im past half to quarter of a tank it starts to read correctly usually.
