Canada's Worst Driver

Canada's Worst Driver
Just watched Canada's worst driver and they have an AUDI 90 Quattro that they give to people to ruin on camera. This is a beautiful vehicle Blue in colour and it could be used by somebody for driving.
I think that the actions of the producers of "Canada's Worst Driver" are worth the protest.
Could we make a list of the people that want to sign the petition to save the Blue 90?

Re: Canada's Worst Driver
I read somewhere that the cars used in the show has a parts only title and could never be driven on the streets again except for the brand new green Camaro. I don't know why or how but my neighbor's VW Beetle just recently had this applied to her car. Apparently, she can only get it registered as a parts car(?)! She found out after she made a windsheild claim and later the bodyshop informed her that ICBC had placed this restriction on her car. Can someone elaborate please? Thanks!

Re: Canada's Worst Driver
It means the car was written off earlier in life and should have never been re-registered or it was from out of province and was written off. Some cars are imported into the country before the car is for sale meaning it doesn't meet our safety standards so it is only allowed on the road for a short period of time and then must be exported or destroyed. Your neighbor will need to check with ICBC and see why this has been applied to her car. There are many reasons why this would happen which is why doing a full title search is the first step when you have found a car you are considering buying. Personally I will not buy a car that didn't spend its life in the Lower Mainland and I would never buy a car that is a rebuild or that has a excessive damage declaration on the title.
