Default Brake Light Problems

So three days ago I got the warning light on my dash that my brake lights were out. I checked and neither of them work, and half of the window light is out as well. My bulbs are fine, the fuse is fine, and the ground wire seems to be fine as well. I don't want to pay a fortune in repairs and I am quickly running out of ideas of what it could be that's causing the problem.
Any help? Please!!!

I was wondering how you determined that the bulbs were fine. I would suspect the bulbs.... my Audi blows a brake light bulb every 3 months (on average)

When I lock the car - the brake lights flash.

Oops!

So what are the odds that both brake lights, and half of the rear window light all burnt out at the same time?
I guess it's worth replacing one of the bulbs to make sure it's not just a very odd coincidence.

common sense says to replace it with a new bulb first. who knows if they all burnt out at the same time. your window lights (not sure what lights you're talking about) could have been out for a while before your brake lights did.

So I replaced the bulbs - that's not the problem.
That was the last thing I could think of...

Did you check if youre getting power to the socket when the brakes are applied?

Bend the tags slightly for better contact with the bulb and check for corrosion on those tags as well.

^ can try that as well. id check to make sure you have power going to the socket first if you have a multi meter.
