so I picked up a 97 A4 quattro 1.8tqm last week with the AEB drive by cable engine and my cruise control doesnt work, I have vag-com but I can't figure out which module to check for cruise control related codes? I'm thinking I might have a bad clutch switch but I'd like to do a little more diagnostics before I start throwing parts at it.

so if anyone knows which module to scan that would be great

I think i've read that theres one behind the glove box compartment.

Check the throttle assembly under the hood. There should be a little metal stick hanging down. Make sure it's it place. should become self explanatory once you locate it. (I'll post the pics tomorrow)

yup i've checked all that, the cables attached the vacuum line to the cruise module is there as well, i'm pretty sure its an electrical problem at this point
