Barely a week!!
Ugh! Barely a week after I got my audi from vancouver and I'm already fixing the oil Pan. I guess that's a result of the suspension being lowered...I need to get that fixed asap. But before I fix that. I was wondering if any of you guys have had any problems with exhaust fumes in the cabin while idling...I noticed it on my way to work and I changed the air filter but no better. I need ti get that fixed soon cos winters almost here.I searched the forum but can't really find anything substantial. Any ideas?

Re: Barely a week!!
@vgorous Hmm. Mine was more like exhaust/gasoline smell. Some other forums say its the evap but i'll have to keep trouble shooting to know for sure...For now a large chunk of my paycheck is gone to fixing the oil leak. I think i need to start an audi repair fund lol

Re: Barely a week!!
Hi
I had this problem (exhaust fumes in cabin) on my 2005 A4 1.8T when I bought it used in 2008..the dealer could not find the problem. It lasted until my next maintenance interval and it never returned. I mentioned it to the dealer and he didn't know why, just maybe just a loose filter cover. I drove it till sept 2011 when I traded it in for a 2010 A4.
The smell never returned.

Does anybody know a DIY on how to fix the signal lights? It goes on but doesn't blink...it just stays on,but it blinks when I have the hazards on though :S

Re: Barely a week!!
do you have the post-facelift model (one piece headlight)?
if yes, use a butter knife (if you dont have trim removal tool) and use it to carefully pry off the trim around the hazard light. Just tinker around the hazard light area to find a way to remoe it. There is a metal clip on each left and right side that holds it in place. You may have to some small thin flat head screwdrivers. Then replace the relay.
I'd do it for you if you were near me.
