Axle seals front and rear the same?

Axle seals front and rear the same?
Trying to figure out if the rears are the same as front. I know the procedure but everywhere I call only has rear on file and not a thing for front? Any help would be appreciated. 2000 a4 1.8 quattro 5 speed

Well was looking at ecs tuning and both front and rear seals have same mfg part number (016409399B) so I guess that answers my question. Now if I could just get my hands on some everything should be OK lol
