Audi - Gas Guzzler - Eco Killer?
I had 3 litres of gas in the tank as per the dash display (30 km) and I fuelled up at 55.3 liters so the total gas capacity would be 58 liters! The manual says that AUDI A4 takes 55 liters total. How much does it really take?
It also uses 22 liters per 100 km so on a 1000 km trip I need 220 liters of gas!
It worse than Delta 88 by GM.

I'm confused. If you're saying that you have 3L of gas in the tank based on a dash readout of 30km remaining, that means the trip computer figures that you average 1L per 10km.
The picture you've attached suggests that you average 22.1 L/100km or 2.2L per 10 km.
So really, with 30 km on the readout, it would be reasonable to assume that you had roughly 6.6L in the tank when you filled up.
Regardless, when I had my fuel sending units re-calibrated about a year ago, the tech told me that the tank in my car (2006 A4 2.0T) will hold about 65L.
Also, I don't know that extrapolating fuel requirements for a long haul trip based on a consumption rate of 22.1L/100km is going to result in an accurate estimate. You must have been driving at some really high revs when this readout appeared. On the highway, your fuel consumption should be much, much, much lower than that. 3.0L Audi engines will average between 9 and 12 L /100km on the highway, provided you drive in the appropriate gear.

I found the problem It was dirty connections on the plugs in the engine comp. They look clean but they are not
I scaped them with a knife and now it is back to normal thx you got me thinking!

all I know is when I step on the gas my gass milage goes out the tail pipes lol
if you can afford to own a audi and fix an audi then you can afford to keep putting 91 and + gas in the car. plus when I look at what it is costing you to fill up it looks like 107.4 for at least 91 octane.
Just to let you in on a secret here in the GTA we are paying 123.6 right now for 91 octane.
You have to Pay to Play

Gallon to Litre Conversion / Convert Gal to L / US Gallon to Litre / Convert US Gallons to Liters ( US Gal to L )
Using the calculator from that link I get 62.08l as your fuel tank capacity.

That pic you posted is not your avg consumtion, it is instantaneous.... Therefore, you took the pic while driving. Please STOP multitasking behind the wheel! Not sure what the laws are there, but here in Saskatchewan, that is a ticketable offence.

i agree with jordon, that's your instantaneous fuel consumption, your average has a ø next to the consumption level. and the 30km is not based on the fuel consumption rate (factory) of your vehicle.
