For those of us who know a thing or two about cars, how do we reset the airbag light without going to a dealer or buying $300.00 connection cable?
I am sure there is a simple way of doing it. If you know, please let me know; I will gladly share my mechanical secrets too

Not sure of there are other options but as far as I know, you will need VAG. I know VAG can clear Airbag light as long as the fault is corrected.
