Air conditioning help
Hello,
Need some imput/help from you guys.. The air in my audi does not work. I took the car to a shop today, They said everything works except my car has a leak.. At that point I was pretty pumped that the car only needed 2 hoses.. But when I called audi they want roughly $350 per hose.. I couldn't believe it.. I need the 2 hoses that come off my compressor. Any ideas's?? Would love to get the air to work but not at that price.. My car is a 96 audi a4 2.8
Thanks

Re: Air conditioning help
A/C work is expensive so thats the deal. that price is the "list" price and u should be able to get the parts for 250 or so. the labour is gonna be more than the parts anyway plus the R-134a etc... the compressor will need oil if the leak blew all the gas out. the parts are the least of ur worries. it may need more like a drier. it all depends on the quality of work the guy does. hope this helps a bit. try and source aftermarket parts etc... it may be a better option.
