96 Audi A4 transmission
Hey all,
I'm new to these forums just thought I would ask to see if anyone else had trouble with their Audi's transmission. My 96 Audi is an automatic but it has to be shifted like a standard from 2nd to 3rd and then can be shifted to D without taking my foot off the pedal, its kinda weird but its not a big deal, its still drivable. I was wondering what it would cost to fix it (like a complete tranny swap?) and if you think it would be worth doing. The body and interior are in excellent condition, no rust... I just spent a nice chunk on fixing up the front rod alignment, brakes/brake lines, and I think the timing belt. Only 175000 kms on it just to give you an idea of the worth of the car.
