Talking 2.8 rebuild

I have a 97 2.8 16V. I have been looking for quite some time for a rebuild kit for this engine but have not had any luck just finding 1.8T ones. The engine is leaking alittle oil and has 137000 on it. So I dont think it needs the rebuild but kinda wanna do it to be proactive to keep anything from going wrong. I also have been looking for some upgrade options for it but also have seen that there is not much to do. I have a cold air intake and an exhaust on it and don't know what kind of chip I could put into it or a supercharger? I know I packed a lot into this but I have been looking around a lot.
Thank you

you have the 12V engine. No engine mods available. Just make it look nice.

No rebuild kit, only individual components. I rebuilt a '99 2.8 last year. Had to source; rings, conn rod bearings, seals, head bolts, head gaskets, etc.

You can get a gasget kit, that includes head bolts, etc.

have a look at ECS tuning, or FCP Groton. Both have websites.

I plan to buy valve cover gaskets and cam seals from ECS this spring to redo do the cam seal leak that I have. VW was going to charge me $900 and Audi was going to chaege me $1200. I also think that I'm going to have to change my exhaust manifold gaskets as well. I have a leak there as well. It is better to do this before it heats up.
