Default Water Drip/Leak Under-body

Hey Guys,

I am sure this would be a trivial issue for many, but I would like some assurance about this problem? that I noticed yesterday.

I was driving for about an hour and when I parked the car, I saw a large pool of water coming out of the car. It was not oil or coolant because it did not smell like it.

The Water was coming out of around the front differential area.

I know since its water I don't have to worry too much, I hope.

But can you guys please provide some assurance to the cause of this.

I'm almost 100% sure it's condensation off of your AC compressor. Don't worry about it. On a hot day, the pool of water can get shockingly large.

I second that its AC. I was worried at first when i seen that. Its 100% the AC. like mentioned above i usually have a huge puddle, especially today, +30 C

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the assurance. I was kinda leaning towards the AC, but the amount of water I saw made me concerned.

Out of curiousity, what else could cause water dripping other than the AC Condensation.

Would the turbo cause condensation ?

A/C would be the only thing that causes straight water UNLESS you have just water in your rad even at that the liquid coming out of there would be kind of oily

cheers,

lol... u must of had full blast of a/c on for an hour to have a big puddle of water underneath your skid plate.

turbo would not cause condensation unless u spray water on it while u had your car running at operation temperature. ;O

Yeah I had the AC running for a bit, and the AC runs ice cold.

Where exactly would this condensation leak coming out of, I keep hearing underneath the Skid Plate, but mine is a little inside of the Skid Plate, closer to the front wheels.

I am going to try driving it for a bit without the AC (if I can manage it, with the current weather) and see what happens.
