I am going to have to have my turbo rebuilt in the near future... I was wondering if anyone had suggestions or recommendations on where to get this done in the Hamilton/London/Kitchener area????

 

why do you have to have it rebuilt? what are the symptoms? what are you looking to do in the future? a K04 is going to cost you damn close to a rebuild on a K03 depending on whats wrong with it.

 

I am not exactly sure... That sounds terrible. But I was getting my timing belt and that jazz done and the mechanic said that the turbo is leaking oil and needs to be rebuilt. I am actually going to call a shop in Oakville that specializes in this, hopefully maybe the seals can be replaced or something simpler. The car has 260K kms on it, and drives great... I just want to get this fixed before it becomes a bigger problem.

 

ok ya thats alot to be putting a K04 on. Best bet is to have it rebuilt. after that many km, its probably seals. sounds like your going in the right direction.

 

Anyone know of were i can get a ko4 rebuilt in toronto?

 

I ended up taking my turbo to Industrial Diesel and Turbo in Oakville... best suggestion I can give.
