Hello, I was wondering if anyone has smoked their tail lights and how it looks. Also has anyone has any trouble with the cops because of them. Thanks!

 

i use to have my tails smoked almost body colour black on my civic, never got harassed, but i could have been lucky.

im planning on lightly tinting my a4 soon as weathers good tho, dont want to rice it, german rice doesnt sound very appealing.

 

i agree with you! Thats why I'm looking for pictures of how dark to go and how good it will look.

has a pic of a dark tint on a black like yours. imho, i would say a light smoke glaze just to muffle the bright red of the lense, similar to this, still a touch too dark for my liking on a black car.

its not as dark as it appears and also at night they look sweet!

 

The previous owner tinted the taillights on my car and left the four rings of the audi logo clear in them.
