i recently bought a 2000 audi a4 b5 1.8t, while driving the car jerks if i press too hard on the gas and wont stop until after the 4th gear. anyone have any similar problems?

Had that problem with a Mazda pick-up turned out to be the clutch.Hope its not your problem just the same.

 

it might be turbo flutter...mine is doing something similar. when I press down on the accelerator, the car jumps and hesitates while i continue to press on the gas. it seems to do it more when the car is warm. I've done a lot of digging and asking...a lot of guys seem to steer me towards a wastegate issue on the turbo. still haven't figured it out though. let me know what you find out if you fix it.

 

I have this problem too! It really makes me mad! I have no clue where to start! I've heard changing things such as the trans filter, trans modular. Helpp
