You can use an Eibach Pro kit with your stock struts. However, it has been said that using lowering springs on stock struts shortens the lifespan of your struts. Just an an FYI, I used the Pro Kit over stock struts on my previous Subaru WRX. I put on 70K's with that setup and my struts were fine... at least they seemed fine.

can you? yes.
should you? no.

suspension is (IMO) the most important part of your vehicle, and if your going to do it, you may as well do it right the first time.

I'm not really sure. I think it will mainly depend on how many K's you have on your struts right now. Just to be clear regarding the work I did to my Subaru WRX, I put the springs on when I had 10K's on the car and the car was gone by 80K's. So essentially the struts were brand new and maybe that's why the setup worked for me. The Pro Kit gave me a 1" rear drop and 1.3" front drop. I'm not sure if that is a factor.
