looking for indepth ecu wiring diagram. bentley is too vague
 

Can someone please help me. im looking for a more indepth ecu wiring diagram for a 99.5 audi a4 2.8L quattro. I have the bentley diagram, but its not clear enough. I need a Diagram with a description of every wire to and from the ecu and there function.

This would be greatly appreciated as i cant seem to find one better then the bentley. My mechanic cant seem to find one either and apparently some grounds are missing. trying to determine if its the wire harness that needs to be replaced or if i may need a new ecu.

The Bentley does indeed have what you're looking for; it can just be a bit difficult to decipher. It lists the colour(s) and the pin-out number of every wire in the car.
