looking for car info got vin number
 

hi guys , I'm new to this forum and also new to Audi. I recently got 1998 A4 v6 dark blue in color. Car was bought at an auction it was hit into the right side(damage to both doors). It's been redone. It's got around 217 klicks on it. I wonder if I have to do timing belt on it or if it was done already. So if any of you had a collision in the past matching the damage described above and wrote the car off please reply back and I 'll shoot you the vin number and may be you 'll be able to tell me more about the car(what's been done or what has to be done). Unfortunately the only info I've got is the vin number, or if you ask I can give you more details about the car like little dents, scratches and so on, something that only owner would know. Thanks a lot to anyone who is reading this post any feedback would be appriciated.

I have seen this on another thread. I have not tried it so I don't know if it works. Let me know how you make out.

thanks for the quick reply. I tried that site but it didn't return anything. I guess I'm gonna try few dealerships. Thanks any way.
