largest sized tire that will fit stock height??
 

Im looking to put larger tires on my 99 a4.
Currently have 16' on.
Wondering if anyone knows whats the largest sized tires i can fit on it at stock height?

Im pretty sure 19 if you roll your fenders but 19s arent a good idea. I had 18s on my car (225/40/18). I tried 225/45 but the tire rubbed against the control arms in the rear so if you get 19 the profile would have to be like 30. Also you'd be going through control arms and all the front suspension business like oil changes with 19's.

225/40/18 is your best fit.
