I need help cv shaft into wheel hub

Default I need help cv shaft into wheel hub

I decided to change my upper control arms and my tie rod ends myself. In the process somehow i pulled the CV shaft out of the wheel hub. so i unscrewd the wheel hub and I am having the hardest time trying to shove it back in there... am i doing something wrongplease help. i need to go to work tomorrow lol

(my apologies if im not using the right termonology)

what is going on is the splines are probably binding..not lining up. rotate the hub... rotate the axle and play with it.. I i removed my axles twice now make sure the wheel is all the way to one side. which makes it easier to get in.
