Help, water leak b5

4 Attachment(s)
so i live in vancouver and we all know it rains a **** load here. My problem is that my rear drivers floor ONLY is getting soaked every time it rains. I have to vaccume it out every day if it is raining just so it doesn't . What are common areas for waterleaks in these cars? I have gone over the underside of the car checking all body drains and they were fine, but for security i re-undercoated the entire drivers side with about another 1/2 cm of undercoat, didn't help. I then thought it could be my sunroof, so i taped it up for the time being and no dice, still water is pooling up in the car. Has anybody ever had this problem before? it seems like it is coming from the lower heater duct underneath the seat almost. anyways here are some pictures:

I would have put odds on a clogged sunroof drain but you seem to have ruled that out by test sealing it.

Possibly clogged drains at the bottom of the driver side doors, esp rear door? It's possible this could cause the door to fill up with water and potentially overflow inside car.

Is all the door seal rubber in good condition or ?

I would proceed to check the factory front cowl water drains (iirc there are two) and the sunroof drains.

yeah i thought it was the sunroof for sure so i tested and it still leaked. I did also check the rear door too, pulled the card off checked for clogged drains and they were fine, as well with the rubber. A guy on vortex said he had the same problem when he rain his power wire for his stereo through the hood release grommet and he said to silicone it up, which is what i have done. I also cleaned the sunroof drains but i can't seem to find the cowl drain. Is it underneath the ecu?

this happnd to me when i got my subs installd into my car you have to seal up that hole very well because it can interfear with all your wiring for the car.

Hey, I'm not an expert when it comes to these but I've read a thred on this same issue somewhere else. He said the water came spilling out especially when he took turns. After a long time of trying one thing after another, he figured out some a/c drain wasn't draining properly somewhere...I'll look more when I get a chance to see if I can find that thread for you.

I'm not saying this is the issue but it's definitely worth checking on most Audi's, aside note and esp the C5 A6 as clogged cowl drains will flood the passenger side floor thru the cabin filter ductwork and eventually pop the TCU under front seat.

The two cowl drains are in the battery tray area. One under battery and one under brake fluid reservoir.
