FROST! Rad Flush

Finally found the real radiator fluid at Auto Value.
It is called Pento Frost and it comes from the Black Forest. The fluid contains "N O T H I N G". No Silicates, no detergents, no mumbo jumbo - block your heater - junk.

It was not available here ever as far as I can tell. Expensive stuff at $20.00 for 1.5liter bottle.

Yes this is the way they call their coolant. It contains Glycol and nothing else. The name make people smile because this stuff is very reliable.

PENTOFROST COOLANT

I had a chance to test the Pentofrost coolant today and these are the results.

1. It sucks the heat out of the engine at an incredible rate.
2. The engine took 7 minutes to fully warm up at idle speed at minus 10 degree weather
3. The temperature change rate is at 1 degree per 3 seconds at idle speed.
4. It is hot in the cabin in 9 minutes

The Germans did it again, gained competitive advantage through their research.
The fluid is expensive at $20.00 per 1.5 liter, but it is truly amazing and if you can use it, do it.
