AUDI blows Hot Air

This could be a temporary solution for people who suffer from lack of heat inside the vehicle and do not want to do the rad flush yet. It is called Acetic Acid. Unlike CLR it does not contain a large non organic molecule of phosphorus, yet it contains the same H+ ion that dissolves Calcium and rust inside your heater core and inside the radiator, causing the glycol to flow freely again. The substance will not react with glycol at all and it will not rust aluminum but contrary it will patinate it from the inside in the worst case scenario.

Just discovered that in Polish grocery stores they sell Acetic Acid at 10% not at 5%. I bought a bottle and added 1 teaspoon of it to antifreeze to dissolve calcium deposits in the heater core. Do not dip your fingers in it because you will pull bones out!

The car blows hot air as never before and warms up 30% faster.

They call it "OCET" and it is pronaunced as "OTZET".
You ask for OTZET and there is no problem, they know what this is.
The 10% is not legal but they sell for what not.

Re: AUDI blows Hot Air

why would you add vinegar to your coolant?
i think you should have considered ketchup... it is red, like the recommended G12 coolant... probably heats up 37% faster (51% faster if genuine Heinz)
