any idea how much?

Does any one have any clue on how much it costs to change a power steering belt? I know no one can give an exact amount but ball park? more/less that timing belt?

Why don't you call Audi. They'll give you their price for the part, and the number of labour hours it takes to perform. Once you figure that out, then you'll know how much it will cost at most. Then work on getting the part cheaper, and finding a mechanic who charges less than the stealership.

sorry it was a 2.9 v6, i have now changed it and i got a friend to do the whole thing and i just had to buy the belt and a case of beer, thanks
