so i turned on my car and the abs and brake light come on and flash, i checked my brake fluid and it was fine so any tips as to what it is and how i can fix it.

 

It's quite common on that years Audi, Volvo, and BMW. It's Abs control moduler got problem. That's bosch abs 5.3. You can go dealer, that'll about $1200-1000, or independent german car shop, $600-800. or have it rebuild about $100-300 by someone(you need remove and install it yourself which is pretty easy). Or rebuild it yourself about few cents and a half day if you have such knowledge or skill.
