Howdy all, long time BMW fan, new Audi owner here!

I recently picked up an Audi A4 1.8T 2000 from a friend who has had it stored in his garage for the past 2 years.

I have an error code P0411 - Secondary Air Injection System - Incorrect Flow.

Tried yesterday today if the car would smog, unfortuanelty there are a few sensors that are not activated in order for the shop to smog it. For example - 02 sensors. If there is an issue with the Secondary Air Injection System - Incorrect Flow can this cause the 02 sensors to not activate?

I am about to check the hoses etc later today after researching online about the issue but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

I also have a CEL on but the only code is the P0411.

The ABS light is also on but I will address this problem later, I just need to get the car on the road first and have it smogged!

Any recommendations for an Independent Audi guy in Orange County, CA???
