2001 audi a4 1.8t lowering question...

i am thinking of lowering my a4 with tein springs.

1.8" in the front

1.08" in the rear

my question is, what do i need to be aware of and do i have to replace my factory struts?

i have 18" audi r8 replica wheels with goodyear eagle f1's (225/40/18

thanks

In my opinion 1.8" drop a at the front seems like too much. Make sure you don't get any rubbing when you're turning the wheels. Also, you'll need a new set of struts to go with the springs.

You wont need to replace them, but they will wear out faster. Might want to get spacers so they clear the upper control arms.
