2005 S4 does not crank when its cold
Hello Everyone,
Ive got a 2005 S4 4.2L that won’t start when it gets below five degrees. It makes a few buzzing sounds under the hood but will not crank. I’ve got full battery power and the battery terminals are clean and tight. If it’s not too cold, after a few turns of the key, twenty turns or so, it will crank. Once it’s been started it will have no problem for the rest of the day to crank again after being shut off. Until it sits over night and then it’s back to being an ignorant you know what. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Here’s a video where you can clearly hear the buzzing sound.
