Suspension Advice

Hi there,

Just bought 19" wheels for my B6 S4 and need to lower the car...don't want to go too low and want to keep the cost reasonable...was thinking lowering springs...any feedback on what type would be best? ..looking to lower the vehicle another inch from stock suspension...does anyone know places that specialize in this type of work?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers

I have a B7 S4 Avant and just bought 19" wheels and the KW v3 coilovers. Hoping to get everything installed next week (assuming my KWs arrive in time). If not, the week after. I'll let you know how they feel once I have them (although I'm guessing they might be outside your budget as coilovers aren't cheap and KW v3s aren't the cheapest of coilovers either (although much cheaper than the top of the line ones).

B5 S4 suspension caps installed on a B6/7 will lower the front by about 0.75" apparently. That's pretty cheap as they're like $125 a pair. Fronts only though.

Thanks for the tip....will it have any effect on the driveshaft? Went to independent tuning and he suggested coilovers best for not having adverse effect on drivetrain...steering...make any sense?

Thanks

won't affect it...it's just a cheap quick drop for the front.

Coilovers for sure are the best solution. I thought you were looking for something cheap though. Coils will be $1500+ and then labour should be $600 or so.
