Considering Cat-less DPs on my B7 S4 with APR catback, Thoughts?
I am currently running an APR Cat-back exhaust and had to switch to JHM Piggies to pass the Ontario Emissions test. Before this I had APR High-flow catted DPs attached to the APR cat-back.
I want a bit more power and sound as I feel it is a bit tame. I am considering getting a muffler shop to cut out the high flow cats (which are burnt anyways) and weld in a piece of test pipe to go cat-less. What are your guys thoughts? I would probably get a JHM tune after going this route and would have the piggie pipes if I ever need to do e-test again. |
Re: Considering Cat-less DPs on my B7 S4 with APR catback, Though
You can pass the e-test catless. It's all OBD2 now. It's idiotic I know but since they've stopped doing sniff tests, you don't need an actual cat anymore.
Anyway, back to your question, don't go catless. It stinks like a mofo. |
