New S4 owner, looking for your input!
 

Hi everyone,


New S4 owner here, about 3 weeks now. Have recently just had the carbon cleaning done under warranty but apart from that all is good with my new to me German beastie.


Currently I am looking to do some exhaust modifications, in particular replacing the baby resonators up front with the magnaflow 11385 (2.25") and straight pipe the middle resonator (the suitcase) leaving the stock mufflers in place for now.

For all exhaust work in the past I have used majestic muffler in scarborough, as they have always looked after me well, done great work, and not once have I ever had issue with them, and I am picky and fussy when it comes to my cars.

As I reside in Creemore, and work in Collingwood now, I am looking for a reputable shop closer to me that can do the same - Can anyone out there suggest a good place that they have experience with?


Other plans in the near future are for aluminium skid plates/belly pans, air intake, and possibly a stage 1 tune with belt and pulley upgrade. I think that will be it.


As for background - I'm and ex Saab guy, mostly 9-3's with my last one being a 2.8V6 turbo Aero, with intake, exhaust and tuning modifications. A great fun car with lots of character, but having 300,000km's and showing its age it was time for a change. Then I come across what I was looking for in an S4, was on the fence and then wifey gave me a big ol shove towards it, and here we are!


Looking forward to any suggestions you fellow Canadian S4 owners have. Also looking forward to learning more about my Audi as I swing the occassional wrench too, saving some bucks and getting greasy is always a bit of fun, amidst the swearing and busted knuckles!
