winter wipers for A3

winter wipers for A3
Just got a 2011 A3 TDI. Love it, but not the OEM wipers. I drove in cold weather/snow and the wipers reminded me of my 1972 VW beatle days. I have seen on the net the bosch Evolution or Trico Neoform. Anyone out there have a good winter/mud/slush wiper to recommend.

Sorry, I don't have a good answer, but I'll bump this up since I'd really like to know what works as well. My wipers seem to be terrible, always leaving stuff behind them, icing up really quickly and badly, a real pain. I'd love a solution!

At my service of 8K, I informed the technician. The problem with the A3, it is not the wiper blades, it is the curvature of the windshield which is very "specific". You will look. The wiper are struggling to follow the curves.
They've changed the wiper free, but they have also informed me that I may be disappointed again in a few weeks.

I installed Bosch Icon wiper blades before the start of winter, and they seem to hold up really well. As Four Circle said, the curvature of the windshield means you will see dead spots, but nothing to obscure your view of the road.
I got a great deal at PGPerformance, $20 per blade if I remember correctly. I wish there was an aftermarket rear wiper, but alas, I'm stuck with the stock.
