Wondering what the best way is to figure out if the car is reflashed?

When I test drove the car I punched it in 3rd and lost traction (felt it and ESP light came on/flickered). From what I've read, that isn't typical of a stock A3.

I know how to activate the APR system (holding "Set" on the cruise function) so I will try that and see if it works when I pick the car up... How do you activate other programs like Revo or Unitronic?

Its a 2006 2.0T A3. I'll post pics when I get her home!

APR tunes also have password lockout, so you may have to sort out how to get past that. If it was locked out, the "Set" test won't work.

If I brought it into an APR authorized dealer, would they be able to see what maps are sitting on the ECU?

we could just log your car and check the boost request and actual. pretty simple.

For revo unplug battery, if u lose power u have a tune... Shitty thing is you then need someone to turn it back on lol
Last comment about checking requested boost vs actual is best way but u need someone with vagcom
