Default Need Help for Accessories for A3

So just recently bought a 2008 A3 S-line. I had a couple of questions on accessories, which I was thinking about.

Extended Warranty - anyone know how much this costs with Audi? The car is currently under warranty until March of next year, so I was thinking on purchasing extended warranty.

Weathertech Liners - I was looking to get the cargo liner, and possibly the front and back seat floor liners. Anyone have any experience with these?

Paint Pen - I've heard mixed reviews on these pens. Is it worth purchasing? I have some small nicks and scratches at the back of the car, so was wondering if this would help.

LED Lights/Xenons - planning on fitting the car with Xenons and LEDs at one point. Any recommendations?

iPhone Charger - haven't really found a crade for iPhone 4. Not sure what people are using as cell phone chargers.

Thanks!

Dont know much about the extended warranty, but extra protection is always wise

Weathertech Floor Liners are the best mat out there, keeps almost all salt off your carpet. Some people think they are a bit pricey, however the oem audi mats are almost same price. oem mats suck fyi. Im going to be picking up a set for the front, as i dont have people in the back often.

Paint pen...booo! I have one, It protects bare metal if scratched reducing the chance of rust... Colour doesnt match, the clear is not the easiest to put on...worth it? that a matter of opinion, deff better than missing paint, no where near as good as taking it into a shop and having them fix the area.

Lights. You can get LED from a few places, make sure the bulbs fit and have a built in resistor(error free) if you dont you will get a light out warning on dash. Eurosport tuning has interior and exterior LED. Not sure what kind of options you have for xenon... most people are going to HID, if thats what you ment then you need to make sure you get a kit with bulbs, balasts, and resistor packs, otherwise the car will give you a light bulb out warning. There is a company out there that makes the HID all built together so you dont have to find a place for those modules, however i remember them being over 3 bills. They come in diffeent temperatures, most popular is the 6000k. You have probably seem these, they are slightly blueish. If you do this i would make sure you have projector headlights as well.

I phone charger... depends! you can get an iphone adapter so you can use it through the stock stereo, most of these kits charge the phone as well. I personally have a lighter usb charger. I got it from canadian tire for $7 and it turns your cigarette lighter into a usb, you can then just use the cable that came with the phone and plug into it.

Hope this helps a bit

That's great. Thanks for the help!

Weathertech - Ya based on reviews I've read, generally the consensus is that they are pretty good. So I think I'll pick them up at one point.

Paint Pen - That's what I was afraid of. I think I might still try it, since they aren't too expensive.

Lights - need some extra help here. I’m ideally looking for HIDs Xenons with the 6000k colour. Do you have any recommendations for places which I should look at for purchasing these? You mentioned that there is one company that builds the HID all built together. Do you know which company that is?

iPhone - the USB/Cigarette lighter combination seems like a good idea. I think I'll do that. Thanks!

Just a note on mats: I have A3 OEM mats (they threw them in as part of the deal). They do not cover much and do not extend enough, especially in the front. Other than the A3 logo these do not do much. I am considering replacing them with Weatherteck at some point.
