Looking for OEM bixenon LED headlamps for 2011 A3
Ok so I've had my 2011 A3 TDI for one week now and it's absolutely awesome!!
My A3 has the regular halogen headlights. Is there any way that I can have the OEM Bixenon LED headlights installed in place of the halogens? If so who can do it and any idea of cost? I want to remain in warranty and have a completely stock look. And FYI it was a dealer demo so I had no choice in the headlight matter. = (
Thanks for any help guys!

If you want the HID, we must not have only new head lights. You need the Ballasts. Ballasts transform the current 12v to high intensity discharge, allowing the Xenon gas lights up.
There are kits on eBay with HID bulbs and ballasts for A3. Like this one: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/AUDI-HID-CONV...ht_3609wt_1501
By cons, you will not have the LED headlights facelift.
The kit FaceBook is interested, but you need to buy HID bulbs and ballasts separately (with connectors). And, I don't know if your switch (and wire) will be compatible...
Try to find a good DIY on Internet about that. It's not that simple seems at first.

I did it on my 2009 S-Line A3.
You need: headlights (800$), ballasts(250$), bulbs (100$), bulb holder (70$), kufatec harness (100$) and vag-com cable (300$).
Labor time: 8-10 hours...

Nice facelift for a reasonable price. For the VagCom programming, any small garage Audi / VW can do the programming for few bucks (instead of pay for cable and software).
If I did not have them genuine, I would undoubtedly do this retrofit. For security (HID lighting) and for the look.

The price isn't too bad at all but my guess is that these retrofitted lights won't auto level or have the AFS feature (Adaptive cornering) correct JeePee? Either way I'd have to wait until the weather warms up and I can borrow a friends garage space for a day.
In the meantime I was thinking of just getting a basic xenon HID upgrade kit for the current headlight housing. I have heard around the forums that this may cause a wiper motor to blow. Anybody have a definitive answer on this? This is the kit I was going to get its $100 CAD from a local shop and includes bulbs, ballast, wiring harness and brackets for mounting: http://www.lumenshid.com/conv_kits.html vs the Philips kits which are $300-400.
any thoughts?
thx guys

It's gonna blind every incomming trafic since light isnt directed.
You can get a auto-leveling motor for 200-300$. It's only a matter of Vag-Com to make it work.
Where you from ?
