ESP Error - Battery Change
Replaced the battery in my '08 2.0T and was shocked to see an ESP failure code the second time I started the car. Switching the ESP off and on didn't cure the code, nor did turning the car off and on a few times.
Took the car for a drive to do some errands. After turning it off for about 20 min. Started the car and no error messages or warning lights.
After some deep searching of other forums this appears to be quite normal. It also appears to throw this code not infrequently due to a low/bad battery and also burned out brake bulbs. Go figure.
