Cargo Floor & Seat Back Net
Hey guys,
Tried searching this here and on audiforums.com (as well as through Google) and haven't had much luck.
The false floor in the back of my A3 is deplorable. It's probably because I'm used to having an SUV or something with a solid floor, but this cover is bad. It flexes and bends... Can't put anything heavy back there or I fear it's going to fold in half... Even my Skyline had better support! Has anyone here beefed there's up? Thinking about getting some aluminum brackets made up or something.
Secondly, the seat back cargo net on the passenger seat is all messed up. The wire has popped out of one side and the bottom. I obviously have had no luck forcing it back in. I'm going to try and take it apart this weekend, unless someone wants to let me know in advance that it doesn't exactly come apart, and I'm better off just getting a full new seat back from a wrecker. Any tips on repairing it (if possible) would be much appreciated.

I agree the cover is a cheap piece of junk. 1st time I put a heavy item in I broke one of the flimsy plastic tabs that hold it in place.
I made a floor cover out of varnished 1/4 inch particle board which I use if I'm going to carry heavy stuff. Works great except you need somewhere to store it when not in use. I could leave it in but it doesn't look that great.
