I've test driven a 2.0T with the sport package. Fantastic car. It pulls a lot harder than my current car, a Mazda3, and feels much more stable. Don't even get me started on the build quality.
I get mine in June. I ordered it in February, so it's been a long wait already. It's a 2.0T, DSG, Lava Gray, Bi-Xenon with the cold weather package. You can't combine the convenience package with Bi-Xenons on the Sport so I oredered the Prmium package and have coilovers installed once I take delivery.

I just bought mine on last Thursday and i'm getting it on Monday (April 3rd). Black 2.0T with Sport package, weather package, open sky, 6-spd manual. Test drove several other cars: Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Mini Cooper S, and Mazdaspeed 6. The only car that drove better was the Mazdaspeed 6 but it just didn't have the look i wanted.
The dealer (in Montreal) had a lot A3s in stock. Don't know why everyone has such a long wait...

PS those pics are for the Europe only 2-door A3. I find the 5-door sportback looks better with the A4 tail lights...

Got a 06 Brilliant Red DSG, Sport Pkg & Xenon last September. Done 1st oil change 2 weeks ago and drove only 4400km so far. Wonderful car! Its really the classy hatchback with style and performance.
