A3 2004 Tiptronic sloooow...
Ok.. so my cousin knows I'm a big fan of audi (already owned an A4) and wants to sell me his A3 2004 Tiptronic.
The car is in mint condition, but... we took it for a drive and it seems to me it takes too long to respond: when I press the gas pedal all the way, it takes like half a second to aknowledge the command and to start running, also it does not start very fast. Sure, once two or three seconds have past the car is a beast!
Is this normal on the A3? I prevously had a 2000 A4 and this was no issue. Now I drive a 2005 Volvo S40 turbo and, in comparison, when I step on the gas it pushes me back to the seat! (I know it´s unfair to compare since the Volvo has more HP than the A3, and its also a turbo).
P.S. My cousin recently changed the A3's transmission, could that be the problem?
