I was finding some information on the audi a3s and from Audi they told me that audi a3`s 2006-2008 do not have rear fog lights installed and the switch do not allow it. The rear tail lights have the spot for foglights from what i saw in the forum in fortitude. i have a link on what you need to do to enable them as our cars have the options but the bulbs may not be in place.

the a3s without the face lift i dont know about the new models.

Awesome! I love finding "hidden" extras like that. I bought the switch in hopes to make the rear fog light work on the 08 TT I had. Unfortunately the wiring wasn't there. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

 

there is no wiring needed all that is needed is to replace the switch and some coding.

 

The headlight switch installs super easily. From there it sounds like you just need to plug in the VAG-COM to enable the rear fog light and make sure there's bulbs installed.

 

yea so simple lol. i am putting the 09 a3 tail lights on mine as well with the leds and upgrading my car with the s3 look on it so yea i ordered the lights to compliment the S3 look on my a3 lol.

 

That's going to look hot! I'd be all over the S3 if it was available here.

yea i will i can show you a sample of what it will look like after cause i know someone who has done it before and i asked him so i have done all my homework.

i ordered the rear bumper as well on mine and the colour of mine will be silver after its done.

 

Do you know if this can be done to a 2008? Where would one get the coding information? It is a feature I'd like.
