Oil chnage guidelines plse
I have recently taken delivery of an A3, first registered march 2007. It had been given it's first service at 15,000 miles in may 2008.. No oil/filter was changed at this sevice, according to the book.
The next service display says a service will be due at 18,000 miles-which I will achieve early 2009. Surely an oil change interval at 18000 miles is too long . Shall I insist the Audi dealer (from whom I bought the vehicle) change the oil as part of the obligitory pre-delivery inspection? |

As to your other question, it wouldn't hurt to get an oil change right away if the dealer will do it. |
