Just joined the A3 family.. got some questions :)

Hi guys, I picked up a quattro premium 2.0 A3 last Thursday in Meteor Grey.. I absolutely love the car since it came out!

I do have a few questions/concerns that I realized after driving it for a couple days.. I do apologize in advance if I am a noob.. I did drive a yaris before this one :)

1) Start up from stand still is a bit "slow".. maybe this is due to the DSG upshifting to 2nd when 1st gear hit 1500 RPM..

2) The famous engine noise that i hear when the car is between 2200-2500 RPM.. This was actually mentioned in another thread as well

3) Audi concert - MIX CD for mp3 doesn't work. Meaning I have multiple folders for my mp3s, mix folder works, but I thought MIX cd should just disregard all folders and play all music

4) Bluetooth sync address book with blackberry - was unable to sync with my bb address book for a couple days, I then found the solution, which is to clear your call logs.. and that worked after :)

All in all, love the car.. any tips in caring for it in the winter time? especially interior care for leather. thanks everyone!

I can't help with 2-4, but for #1, if you really mean to launch, stomp on it and it won't upshift immediately. Or, move it to manual control. A turbo motor at 1500rpm is simply not making much torque.

I find 1st gear rather weak as well, personally I find accelerating in 2nd gear to be faster, manually up shifting at 900-1000 rpm.
