Re: FS : Eibach pro kit 3.2 quattro
Hi, I was wondering why you are wanting to remove the Eibach springs. Are you having any issues? I have a 2010 A3 which I have just replaced the stock 17's with MMR Hr2 19" wheels with 235/35/19 tires. There is a huge gap between tire and top of fender in the front. The back is about 2 inches above tire. Which is ok to me for the back. But the front has a 3 inch gap. I'm afraid of the back tires rubbing when i carry people in my car if I add the pro kit. Are your wheels 18's? Cause if they are and mine are 19's then there will not be a 1 in gap like it looks in your picture for the back. It may rub.
Thanks |

Thanks Also, the wheel gap is not a function of the size of the rim, so the gap you see here on 18's will be the same on 19's. The reason being, your tire thickness has been reduced to compensate for the increased rim size, therefore overall diameter unchanged. I forgot to add why i'm selling : i wish to lower the car even more, therefore going for an ajustable coilover. |
