My Story

I've been lurking on this forum for nearly 2 years now, reading and viewing all the other nice A3s. I've never posted a single picture of my 2006 A3 2.0T DSG since I wanted to share what I could accomplish with it. I originally purchased it as a winter beater for my 2006 Lexus IS250. After driving it for the first winter, I enjoyed it's performance and fuel efficiency. In the end, I departed my beloved Lexus IS (more on this later) and decided to use the A3 as a full year daily driver.

Slowly, but surely, I started to modify the Audi. It wasn't planning on modifying it in any fashion. That promise was soon broken, especially since all my previous cars were tuned. I went mostly for cosmetic touches this time around - all show and no go. It's my daily family car, so I didn't want to abuse it too much. I'm finally satisfied with the end result and would like to share the finished project with the rest of the community.

Modifications:

Lighting
Well Done 6000K H11 HID low beams
Philips 6000K H7 HID foglights

OSIR carbon fibre DTM rear valence
3M carbon fibre Di-Noc deck spoiler

Suspension & Wheels

As noted earlier, it was a difficult decision to depart my Lexus IS. I adored it and wanted to keep it till the end. But, you know with cars, it's a promise that usually ends up being broken. I had it featured on Scraped Crusaders.

I look forward to keeping my A3 for a while, so I'll be "lurking" for sometime.

↑↑ Diffuser looks nice! You should also considering getting rear led's.

Well, it's my daily driver now, so it will have to take me through the winter. Perhaps, I should get a beater for my winter beater.

Thanks. I really do like the LED tails, but I'm too lazy to do the wiring and coding.

Your a3 is really nice. I really like the grill trim. Mines chrome, not really digging it.

Thanks. I like the S Line grill surround too, but didn't want to spend $ on it. Best solution? Plasti-dip it for only $12. It's lasted through 2 winters without any problems.
