Cracks in Headlight Assembly

Cracks in Headlight Assembly
when i popped open my hood today, i discovered a "crack" inside the headlight assembly. you won't see this with the hood closed because the "crack" forms at the top. both patterns can be seen on the driver side and passenger side (pics below). is this a defect or am i being paranoid? this is the first time i'm noticing this. anybody else experiencing the same issue?

so i took my car to the dealership today. the general manager and someone from audi canada happened to be there to have a look at my headlights. we looked at another A3 on the lot as well as the new A4. it looks like the "cracks" are leftover from the mold during the manufacturing process.
