After pulling out from a junction I found it quite difficult to increase speed and when I finally made it up to the speed limit there was quite a lot of vibration around the drivers foot well and through the steering wheel. When I was finally able to pull over I had a quick look around the engine/wheels and there was quite a bit of smoke coming from only the driver side wheel. This had a strong smell of rubber and the brake disc/wheel rim was very hot to touch.

If any body could give me an idea on what the problem could be I would be very grateful.
