2008 A3 - Humming Noises @ Highway Speeds

Greetings All,

Picked up my 2008 A3 S-line 2.0 TFSI about a year ago this month and I'm having one very particular issue with it as I am fast approaching 25,000km.

When I hit highways speeds greater than about 105 km/hr I hear a humming/droning sound coming form what sounds like the front/under the car...
The sound has been getting progressively worse over the last couple of weeks...

I read on a post from 2004 of a similar issue someone had and that their dealer diagnosed it as issues with the wheel bearings... is it possible that I have the same issue?

If indeed it is the wheel bearings would the factory warranty cover repairs? :confused:

This newbie would be grateful for any information or thoughts anyone might share. :mrgreen:

Was this issue your bearings or just your tires or something else?
