First post in a new section, I win. Anyways, I picked up an Imola S in bad shape a couple of months ago, I have it back in the land of quick and happy. I look forward to other S owners posting here:razz:

Right now it is my grocery getter, stage 2+, pretty quick. I just pulled my stage 3 motor and turbos out of my A6, which is getting big power upgrades, so I think I will make the Imola stage 3

The A6 will be a monster, 3L Eurospec motor, Rosten valve springs and Ti retainers, Supertech valves, Bullseye B383 turbo, equivalent to a GT50 or larger, custom intake, and exhaust mani's, magnafuel 750 inline pump, ID1000 injectors, IC core that flows about 3000cfm........
You get the picture, no expense spared. Looking for 700-800awhp this season, 1k-1.2k next with an extreme port job on the heads. The S will be my old reliable |

The build is already under way, old motor and trans are out, getting ready to remove the secondary firewall, header fabrication starts in 2 weeks. I have the turbo, motor, IC, fuel pump, injectors, wastegate's, blow off valve, fuel rails........in hand. We are hoping for a fabrication complete date of the first week of May.
I will get some pics up of before and after firewall removal, also will keep things up to date during the turbo manifold fabrication. |

is it an Avant? wish you were closer...would be a cool car to check out I saw a great looking Imola S4 sedan on Sunday in Markham on 16th ave. Looked fantastic. |

My A6 is a sedan, currently matte black wrapped, I got a good portion of the secondary firewall out today, we are just planning structural rebuild before we take the rest out.
It is a giant IC core 4.5"x 28" x 14" I have to head out to the Calgary Audi Club meet right away, but I did snap some pics of the firewall removed. I can also grab some shots of my parts pile, I know that's what most people want to see anyways |

You ain't ballin' until you have a turbo the size of your child's torso :thumb: And that longblock is beautiful...
Please do start a thread! I think there will be a ton of people checking it out! P.S. I see your pics are quite underexposed - try spot metering on the darker objects so that your camera will expose better. I know that I'd like to see these parts in all their true glory :D |
