Default Tire and sway bar questions

Hey,

I'm looking into some winter tires and I was just wondering how damaging it can be for the Quattro system if wider tires are used in the back. (225 or 235 / 245 - 40/17)

- I'm not doing this on purpose, I just found a very good deal on tires from a local dealer, and I was just wondering if it would be safe for the Torsen system.

Also, I have been looking into the RS4 rear sway bar. I've looked up all of the threads, I was just wondering if anyone has had/heard of problems after running it on the stock suspension, any opinons/reviews are also welcome

Thanks

Also, I know that there is a ipod cable for the symphony system, but is there a usb integration for it? (Similar to BMW's usb integration)

Read somewhere tires should be within 4mm tread depth which amounts to about 1-2% variation for the Quattro system

Tire size calculator - use this link to calculate you variation. Personally I would use the same size front & rear but the calculator shows you would be within 2% anyways.

Ref RS4 sway - general consensus from folks that have it is "noticeable improvement" in handling.
